Cressida adds to its team

Gaurav Kumar has more than seven years’ experience in financial services, specialising in property finance, residential lending, and collections. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is currently completing his Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services (Residential Lending).

At Cressida Capital, Gaurav supports the lending team across the full loan lifecycle, working closely with the Lending Managers and Property Finance Manager from initial enquiry through to settlement and ongoing portfolio management.

His responsibilities include loan origination and settlement, undertaking site visits and feasibility reviews, preparing credit risk assessments, managing AML/CFT compliance, and coordinating legal documentation. He also manages construction drawdowns, verifying progress through site inspections and builder meetings to ensure funds are released accurately and efficiently.

In addition, Gaurav oversees loan variations, extensions, repayments, and security discharges, and contributes to portfolio management through daily cashflow monitoring, arrears management, insurance reporting, and supporting monthly portfolio risk reporting.
