In 20 something years of covering home loan rates today is one of the most anticipated in recent memory. Will the Reserve Bank be reserved and just cut the OCR 25 basis points, or will it make a double cut of 50?
There was even a comment of a 75 basis point cut. Now that would be historic (and possibly an admission of a stuff up on rate setting).
As usual we will have comprehensive coverage later today.
In the meantime it's fascinating to see changes to home loan rates.
