They won the Loan Market International Award, heading off rivals from throughout New Zealand and Australia. Loan Market has a network of franchised offices representing 2000 advisers in both countries.
The award is an annual event and was presented in Brisbane. The winning team was Loan Market Capital and Coast. It has 10 mortgage and three insurance advisers and has offices in Paraparaumu, Upper Hutt, Petone and Wellington.
They are looking to expand the Wellington office.
Loan Market works with a sister company, Ray White Real Estate.
Loan Market Capital and Coast owner, Dan Bailey, said the award was given partly for the amount of business brought in but also for the level of customer service that is provided.
“It's an honour to get the award,” Bailey said.
“Since we started this business seven years ago there has been a lot of hard work by a lot of people to achieve this success across Australasia.
“There are a lot of people who have contributed to it, customers, referrers, the franchise group as well, and obviously our entire group – it's a real team award,” Bailey, who's 43, said.
“We are not a bunch of superstars, we don't have one adviser who sits there and has a lot of sub-advisers beneath him, it's a real team effort.”
