Bluestone bolsters Auckland presence

Non-bank lender Bluestone has hired two new business development managers for Auckland as it grows its presence in New Zealand.

Aaron Taylor (pictured), joins from rival Pepper Money.

Taylor will become a business development executive, supporting advisers across the country, with a focus on advisers "new to Bluestone".

Taylor has a strong background in customer service and credit policy, the lender said.

Nik Beri will also support advisers in Auckland.

Beri has eight years of experience in the lending sector, including three years at ANZ and roughly five years at Kiwibank. 

The duo joined Bluestone last Monday.

Peter Wood, Bluestone managing director for New Zealand, said: “Our people are our most important asset and we will continue to invest in them, and in our coverage to ensure advisers across NZ are well supported by us.

"In addition to our new BDMs, we’ve recently increased our lending team by four and we’re continuing to recruit and grow.”
