About KiwiSaver Adviser Tool

KiwiSaver Adviser Tool is a cloud-based solution that saves time, simplifies compliance, and improves efficiency.

Save time: pre-built workflows and document templates give advisers more time to spend with clients, generate leads or work on other high-value tasks.

Simplify compliance: digital client signoffs, document templates, secure data storage, disclosure links, and provider and fund information are all built into the solution and help advisers to meet compliance requirements. 

Improve efficiency: information can be supplied or reviewed by clients and advisers at a time that best suits, reducing delays and improving customer service.

How It Works

KiwiSaver Adviser Tool is made up of five main parts:

1. Fact Find

  • Collect client information with a Fact Find, which includes a risk profile assessment and questions about which types of providers the client would prefer e.g. having ESG policies or being NZ owned.
  • The standard Fact Find emails the client a link to a digital Fact Find or advisers can enter client information during an in-person meeting.
  • Add-on the Online Fact Find which sits on an adviser's website, enabling website visitors to fill it out and become qualified leads.

2. Fund Comparison

  • Select funds to compare to the client’s current KiwiSaver (if they have one).
  • Compare historical performance, asset allocation and fees across a range of funds.

3. Statement of Advice

  • Select your recommendation and automatically generate a professional Statement of Advice. 

4. Authority to Proceed

  • Capture electronic client signoffs, either in-person or online.  
  • AML verification (optional) - collect AML details or undertake AML authentication via GBG.

5. Client Review (optional)

  • Issue a client review and revisit advice if required.

KiwiSaver Client Reviews

KiwiSaver reviews are an important part of offering KiwiSaver advice. Our optional review process enables advisers to set up a future KiwiSaver review date, at which the review process begins. Advisers can then send an email to clients, which asks whether they wish to undertake a review of their KiwiSaver.

Other Features

KiwiSaver Adviser Tool is personalised for each adviser, with their branding, providers and disclosure links loaded into the Tool by the OMNIMax team during setup. 

Other key features of KiwiSaver Adviser Tool include: 

  • Data security - data is securely encrypted and stored on Microsoft Azure’s infrastructure.
  • Custom branding – the adviser's logo, brand colours and imagery are used throughout the solution, in SOA documents and client communications. 
  • Existing clients import – existing clients can be bulk imported by the OMNIMax team. We can also setup a KiwiSaver review task for each client if required.
  • Free training and support – all advisers are offered free training and go onto our Basic (free) support plan. This includes access to our library of support articles where advisers can find answers to a range of questions about KiwiSaver Adviser Tool. 

Looking for a ROBOAdvice Solution?

OMNIMax’s ROBOAdvice solution fully automates KiwiSaver advice. Once a client completes their Fact Find, ROBOAdvice uses algorithms to match the client’s Fact Find information and financial goals to the appropriate KiwiSaver fund.  It then automatically generates a Statement of Advice and emails the client a link to their Authority to Proceed.
