Liberty makes three key appointments

Liberty adds a new underwriter, promotes a former underwriter to a BDM role and secures a specialist property lender from another non-bank.

Liberty has made three key appointments to help deliver "exceptional service and innovative solutions" to advisers.

Rose Marshman, an accomplished underwriter with extensive experience in Liberty’s New Zealand and Australian underwriting teams, rejoins Liberty and further enriches the company's wealth of expertise.

Brenda Dixon, a seasoned specialist property lender from Avanti Finance, brings her impressive pedigree in lending and complex application assessment.

Sandi Brown moves from being an underwriter to a business development manager. Chief executive Aaron Skilton says this  reaffirms Liberty's commitment to nurturing team members to deliver greater support to its adviser network.

Igor Stychinsky, Liberty COO highlighted the depth of expertise brought by the new appointments.

“We are dedicated to supporting advisers and helping them thrive in a rapidly evolving lending landscape,” Stychinksy said.

“By investing in our team and expanding our resources, we are well-positioned to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions that address the changing needs of our partners and customers."

Marshman said "returning to Liberty feels like coming home."

Meanwhile, Brown says her experience as an underwriter has provided her with "invaluable insights into advisers needs and the lending market."

Skilton says the appointments shows "a dedication to growing staffing levels especially during a very challenging environment to better serve business partners and advisers."

"Liberty's growth trajectory is testament to our enduring commitment to both the NZ financial services market and our people, even in difficult times," he said.
