RBNZ restructures

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand  is changing the structure of its Senior Leadership Team.

These will result in that team growing from six to eight roles.

The extra roles are a General Manager of risk, compliance and legal services’ and another dealing with information and data analytics.

The Governer, Adrian Orr says the new roles will improve capacity in important areas.

All existing permanent members of the Senior Leadership Team have been reconfirmed or reassigned, other than the Bank’s Chief Financial Officer Mike Wolyncewicz.

He has chosen not to take up a role in the new structure, but will remain at the Bank until May 2022.

Recruitment for the new and vacant roles will begin shortly.

An extra vacancy is created by the move of Christian Hawkesby to the role of Deputy Governor.
