Partners Life appoints additional independent director

Partners Life adds a director to its board who has a technology and innovation background.

Partners Life has appointed Julie Fahey as a non-executive independent director on the boards of Partners Group Holdings Limited and Partners Life Limited.

Fahey is a non-executive director of Datacom Group in New Zealand and of Yooralla, IRESS and CenITex in Australia. She is also a member of the Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority's ICT advisory board.

She Fahey has more than 30 years of experience in technology, including in major organisations such as Western Mining, Exxon, Roy Morgan, General Motors and SAP, covering consulting, software vendor and chief information officer roles.

In addition to her industry experience, Fahey spent 10 years at KPMG as a partner with the firm, during which time she served as national lead partner telecommunications, media and technology, and national managing partner - markets. Fahey was also a member of the KPMG national executive committee.
